Let us make it easy for you. You can choose from one of four packages, inclusive of VAT, that can be bought in your or someone else’s name. And we’ll deliver a carbonpaid welcome pack, with a verification card, car sticker and gift to the address of your choice. If you like, we’ll even enclose a message composed by you so they know who to thank. Just key it in when you order online.

£30 package – ideal for non-drivers or those wishing to buy a reasonably priced gift.

£50 package – generally enough to offset the carbon produced by a small property and small car over the course of a year.

£75 package – this is ideal for somebody wanting to offset emissions for a family home and car for a year.

£100 package – if you have a larger vehicle or home and feel you emit more carbon this should see you through a year.

Of course, you needn’t stop there. You could also offset:

• one-off events such as wedding parties – you don’t have to work out exactly how much gas will be used to run the central heating at the reception or used to fly the happy couple off on their honeymoon. We suggest you opt for a carbonpaid great green package for a small, medium-sized, large or vey large wedding at £30, £50, £75 or £100.

• your carbon emissions from the moment you were born until now - you can offset your emissions for your life so far by multiplying the average per-person per-year emissions rate for your country by your age. This will be the number of tonnes of carbon credits that you should purchase if you wish to offset your life so far. Offsetting your life-so-far will make you completely carbon neutral to the day you do it. To stay neutral, you will need to purchase a subscription as well.

• your carbon emissions from the moment you were born and for life - you do this by multiplying the average per-person per-year emissions rate for your country by your expected lifetime (around eighty years for most people). If you have the money, this is a great way to offset with your greenhouse gas emissions because you only need to perform a single transaction!
